Administrative matters

Foreign language is a compulsory subject in the university curriculum for the first four semesters. There are three foreign languages that can be opted for: English, French and German.

The Dept. of Economic Studies requires an advanced foreign language course for the 5th and 6th semesters as well.

In the Dept. of Informatics there is only one foreign language available: English.

In the Dept. of International & European Economic & Political Studies students have to choose a language other than the one they selected for their university entrance exams. In other words, if students have taken English in their entrance exams they have to choose French or German during their university studies.

Credit

In the Dept. of Economic Studies and the Dept. of  Informatics credit is based on the mean average of the grades obtained in the six/four semesters respectively.

In all other departments, grades obtained in the four semesters carry equal weight when calculating the final degree grade.
